Instead I recommend replacing it with the newer version, the # RP66130, along with shank # RP54970 and 2-5/16" hitch ball # C40030.

- I'd say you found the smoking gun and it's because he "may have hit something". I'd inspect for further damage as it's likely there's more. I'd also use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to see if you can find voltage to the motors and everything else to help pinpoint where the problem is. My guess is that the simple answer is that he took out wiring to the jacks when he hit something and that's why it all stopped working.
